Even though summer has come to the end, at Vegalfaro we have some exciting news to keep the happy mood on, as James Suckling couldn´t resist to our organic wines and once again gave them super scores.
Pago de los Balagueses Syrah got 96 points for the second year in a row, ranking Pago de los Balagueses as the best Vino de Pago in the world. Take a look at what James had to say on this sexy Syrah:
Additionally, our native varieties also deserve a very special mention, as Pago de los Balagueses Garnacha Tintorera received 94 points, and Caprasia Bobal as well as Rebel.lia 91 points, proving that autochthonous grapes have come to stay.
It should be noted that for the annual tasting that is organized in Spain, more than 2,000 references of the best wines were presented for a blind tasting.
The results achieved make us very proud and encourage us to continue working to bring you with each vintage the purest expression and personality of our vineyards.
